ESKİŞEHİR INTERNATIONAL POLYPHONIC CHOIR FESTIVAL
Aiming to bring together art, cultural diversity, and a shared voice, the Eskişehir International Polyphonic Choir Festival is preparing to gather choirs from different countries and cities in the contemporary and cultural atmosphere of Eskişehir. Through the universal language of music, the festival aims to strengthen intercultural interaction, bring polyphonic choir music to wider audiences, and make the unifying power of art visible. As one of Turkey's major student and cultural cities, Eskişehir is an ideal hub to host an international choir festival with its artistic life, modern structure, and strong cultural infrastructure. With concerts, workshops, interviews, collaborative performances, and cultural activities to be organized throughout the festival, the city will transform into a grand meeting space living with music. Within the scope of the festival, ensembles in different categories, particularly children, youth, adult, chamber, and academic choirs, will perform. Participants will not only experience performing in concerts; they will also find the opportunity to get to know different musical cultures, connect with international artists, and develop new artistic collaborations. The Eskişehir International Polyphonic Choir Festival will be held with an understanding that prioritizes sharing, solidarity, and artistic growth over competition. Choral conductors, instructors, and musicians will share their knowledge and experience with participants in training sessions and workshops during the festival. Thus, the festival will not be an event consisting solely of concerts, but will also serve as an educational and cultural platform. This special organization, where different languages, cultures, and people will meet on the same stage through music, aims to strengthen Eskişehir’s position in international art events and contribute to the cultural promotion of the city.
